"I followed the instructions perfectly from the manual. I placed the wires in their correct corresponding holes. I still can't seem to get the dang pictures to come on. I won't get my kitty treat if my owner finds that I couldn't do this seemingly easy task. Hmmmm...I wonder if it may have something to do with cats only being able to see certain colors? Nah! There's only two colors on these wires, and they match perfectly. My, my, my. I really hope my people won't be disappointed enough to trade me in for a puppy!!"
"You may have me locked in this tiny room for now, soaking me to the bones with that magic wand of yours. But....just you wait until I escape...because I WILL escape. You know that soft cashmere shawl you take such care with? I think it just may be time to flex the ole claws and curl up on it for a wet fur nap! And don't stick me in this room again!!!!!"
１１月２５日に小梅ちゃんは避妊手術を受けました。「三泊四日入院です」って先生に言われ、寂しいやら心配やらの三晩を過ごし、２８日の朝一でお迎えに行きました。怒ってましたねぇ（笑）
早く連れて帰れ！痛かったぞ！んにゃぁ～
って感じですか。そして１２月４日の本日抜糸を終え・・・ がしかし、まだお腹舐めちゃうのでエリザベスカラーつけたままですけど（笑）
このエリザベス姿で、私の顔の前まで迫ってくるわけなんですが、なんだか茶碗が迫ってくるようでしかも底には小梅の丸いお顔がちょこっとあって、思わず爆笑です。今日なんてマスコットのペンギンと遊んでいたら、エリザベスの止めボタンにぶら下がってしまったようで・・・（爆・爆 もぉ～大笑いでした。この状態でペンギン追い掛け回してましたけど。（下の写真です）ブルドーザーとも言えますね。まぁ～迷惑なこと！！テーブルの上のものをすべてなぎ倒して歩いてます。
小梅は、どこかの運送会社の庭先で生まれました。同胎は４匹。運送会社のヒトたちは、彼らをとても可愛がってくれました。でも、うち２匹は残念ながら事故にあい亡くなってしまいました。残った２匹（♂♀）のうち１匹（♂）は里親募集広告で引き取リ先が決まりましたが、引き取り手が見つからなかった小梅は、獣医の下に引き取られ里親を待っていました。そこに動物愛護里親の会の方が受診。性格も愛想も良い小梅を見て、これなら里親見つかりそうだなと思い連れ帰り、譲渡会へ出すことになりました。１回目の譲渡会では里親は決まらず、２回目の譲渡会へ・・・
あの日は中高一貫校の説明会があった日でした。雨の多かった今年の夏にしては珍しく空が青い夏らしい日だったことを覚えてます。私と娘は、動物愛護里親の会のボーダーコリーを引き取ってくださった方に用があり、お会いするために譲渡会を開催している仙台港のアクセルに向いました。そぉー「可愛い子猫にあったら連れて帰ろうね」と二人で話しながら・・・（笑）
ホントは三毛猫が欲しかったんですけどね・・
我が家の動物たちは何故かみんなモノトーン♪（笑）グレーのコと小梅と・・どちらにしようかちょっと悩んだんですが、ウチには傍若無人なボーダーコリーと超甘えん坊のMダックスがいますから、娘が何故か気に入った全然物怖じしないソックス履いた黒い子猫を選ぶことにしました。そうそれが２回目の譲渡会に参加していた小梅だったのでした。あの日は別件で足を運んだ譲渡会だったのに、子猫を一匹連れ帰り、里親の会で保護したボーダーコリーに関する相談があり、その保護犬を一頭預かるコトになり、なんだか運命と縁を感じた日でもあります。
小梅は運の強いコだと思います。野良猫として生まれましたが、たくさんのヒトに可愛がってもらったおかげで本当の野良猫にならずに済みました。事故からも逃れ、里親の会の方に出会うまで大切に保護されてきました。そして、いまではかけがえのないうちの家族のひとりに・・ あぎんのクッションの上で幸せそうにお昼寝している姿を見るたび、彼女の強運に心から感謝するのでした。
You must never disturb the cats when their favorite show comes on. All the neighborhood kitties begin to enter through the cat flap-door when the curtain (or towel...lol) goes up at showtime. Some will tend to growl. I've tried enjoying the "obvious" entertainment of the program....but I just can't seem to grasp the concept. I fall asleep every time...only to wake up to about a dozen more kitties making their home on my belly while they stare in stark wonderment at Mouse TV. (More growls if I try to move. I'm a prisoner of my own home) A mouse running on a wheel. Hmmm....reminds me of when my teenage son played video games non-stop as a teenager. The other-worldly look in his eyes, the sheer focus on that game even when more friends showed up. Sheesh...mice are less expensive to buy. I should have gotten him interested in Mouse TV rather than video games. DARN!!

Interruption from the CRTC: We are not in the position to show the event after this photo was shot. The cat obviously had rabies, and the whole family survived the ordeal of running upstairs, downstairs, and all over the house...trying to get out of the cat's thunderous way). Now for a commercial break.
Then again, the budgie might be a decoy. He's playing tricks on that dang white kitty just so his squirrel friend can turn order many yum-yums on the internet. What a couple of smart critters. But that cat...he looks like he is on Speed.
What more can you say? The comparison between the two photos is just plain FUNNY. Such love....such longing....such howling and hissing from Ginger in a second! Lol
"Dang it, why do I always have to buy items that are on sale because they are being discontinued?!? When I bought those Dryer Sheets for the laundry, I thought that the wording of "Static Cling" meant that my clothes would be rid of static. How wrong I was! These kittens are stuck all over me through no fault of their own. The static GRABBED them. Now I'm just hoping big mama kitty on the floor doesn't come hurtling through the air at me next!!"
Oops. It looks as though the player in red must have bought some of those discontinued Static Cling Dryer Sheets, too. I sure hope he can explain to his team and their opponents why he was flying around the field all day, showing his...uhum...body parts up close and personal. He may be in need of serious counselling if he can't figure it out himself....or at least a few surgeries as payback for his "joke".
I'm back!! Does anyone still remember me? I used to have the Blog that was STUPID. Lol. I liked to make you all laugh. I also had the "Official Mug Shot Friday", "Music From the 60's and 70's", and even true stories from history (such as the WWII German fighter pilot who wouldn't shoot down the battered English plane, but directed them back in the correct direction to hopefully make it back to England before crashing in the ocean). I'm also the person who was attacked on a walking trail one night, and I never really got back into blogging much after that. But I remember the incredible support I received from you all when I told you and showed the webcam photos of the damage he had done to me. It's been one year this month since I received a frozen shoulder from that guy. No more pain, but I still don't have all of my range of motion back in my right arm. But I'm determined to get 100% better!
Well....from the photo....you can tell that I'm very EXCITED to be back!!!! And I've become even cuter than I was before! Just look at my freshly cut hair, my beautifully white teeth, and the excitement shining from my eyes (oops, I forgot....my eyes are pinpoints, so I must have been whacked out on drugs for that photo op!). Regardless, overly excited, paws ready to start pattering the keyboard!
It's actually going to take me a few days to get everything set up. I need to change so many things on this old Blog. If there are still people around that used to be in my neighborhood but left when I disappeared, would you mind letting them know that I'm here again? Pretty please and thank you. I can't wait to say, "HI", to everyone again. But please be patient. I have to learn all the basics again (ugh!!), and then do a lot of updating before running my Blog again on a daily basis.
It's so great to be back with you all again!!!!!!!!!!!!! Come one, come all. Let the merriment begin!!!!!
